Soldier boxes packed and ready to go!

What a great job the student council members did! They worked very hard and managed to put all 50 boxes together in just over an hour. K2 News came in and recorded the whole experience for us and they aired the story twice, once on the 10pm news and again on the 6am show. Thank you to all our sponsors, donors, and volunteers who made this project possible!

This Saturday, some student council members met us at Sam's Club to shop for the soldiers. They did a wonderful job. We came in a lot under budget, so we will be able to send some care packages to Mr. Steve's son and his unit when they get deployed after Christmas. We will be filling all 50 boxes on Tuesday this week.

I think that K2TV News will be joining us to do a story on all our hard work.

Thank you to all who helped make this possible. The generosity of our school and community is absolutely amazing!

Hope for Our Heroes Project

Student Council’s newest service project is Hope for our Heroes. We will be creating 50 care packages for troops in Iraq. Student Council members will be working hard talking to local businesses to get items donated to send to our soldiers. We will be able to provide these troops with snacks, games, books, and basic necessities like shampoo, toothpaste, soap, etc.

How can you help with this inspiring project? For $15, you can sponsor one soldier and help send one of these care packages to Iraq. (Please note that any donation amount is welcomed.) Thank you. Your support is greatly appreciated.

A list of all donors/donations will be listed here when they start to come in.
